When you write a long post, I would suggest not leading with a first sentence that indicates that no one, especially SDS, should take your post seriously.
Make your argument without resorting to hyperbole or straight up lies.

What is the genesis of trying to kill the investment side of this game? Are you hoping we investors and collectors will just empty our wallets and buy stubs? Quite the opposite. These restrictions STOPPED me from buying stubs.
With this one excerpt, you contradicted the ridiculous title of this post. The "investors", which is a stupid term to use in a BASEBALL game, are the ones who normally empty their wallets to stock up on hundreds of silvers and golds waiting for them to turn diamond so they can jack up the prices anyway. SDS putting a cap on your stockpile kills the idea of wanting people to buy stubs.
Most of us just...ya know....play the game for free packs and stubs. Not everyone has the "gotta have it all, gotta have it right now" mentality.

I have 175k, pulled and kept jram and tatis, collected all wbc stuff so far and have basically sold all the rest of live series stuff on the market
I've never flipped a massive amount but I've never invested prior to player updates
I feel pretty good about my 175 stub count
So Idk, market change doesn't feel like it's a negative yet for me.

Play the way you like to play. No reason for you to support them killing the investor market. They keep the value of the cards that are not in use up, you know. So instead of shohei costing 150 golds, now he’s going to cost you 500. Because the value of what you pull in 99% of your packs will never be much above quicksell now.

He's not gonna cost me anything but the time it takes to grind for stubs by playing games, completing programs and selling dupes. And im fine with that.

Took me 6 days, in the market you said is destroyed because of this.but I don't blame you, you don't know how the market works other than crippling it with hundreds of orders at a time, I'd explain more but you don't want to know the market, you just want to scream that you can no longer exploit it

Nearly every card is sitting at Quick sell value in under 1 week. No demand for anything except shohei and a few others. That it literally what a dead economy means. There was nothing hyperbolic about my post.
And it’s because if you aren’t using the card there’s no reason to buy it now. You can’t hold enough of them to make a reasonable profit when they get upgraded in overall, and it’s too cumbersome to make exchange packs.
Dead. Economy. Live series is already quicksell series in less than a week.
That is not good for investors, obviously, but it’s not good for anyone else either.

In past years you could earn packs and rip them and get something in the market for your live series cards. But these restrictions mean the people who used to buy your cards aren’t there. so now you will be quick selling everything except a few cards all year.
Your insults are dunning-krueger tier. You haven’t thought this through whatsoever. Just move along, this post isn’t intended for you.

Nope. Just glad that people are posting so much about this. I hope it never stops. I don’t want to see this game turned into 2k where you have to drop $3500 for one card and can’t sell it when it’s no longer relevant. And even though because you are not an investor and think these changes don’t affect you and your game experience; they do. I’m actually advocating FOR you too. You just can’t see it.

I’ve never flipped or invested and just played and open packs, I’m usually no money to limited money spent and I get everything done every year, it always seems daunting in march, but by July it will be fine.

Exchange for profit is totally dead now because everything is selling near quick sell price, because you can’t hold inventory waiting for price increases; everything is being dumped on the market.

Good luck against the CPU? Really? If i do play online, its not until the break anyway. But good luck in finding a new strategy in getting those crutch 98s. I mean....clutch 98s.

I think it’s extremely weird for people to take sds side on this. Literally anyone can flip or invest, and save you hundreds of dollars not having to buy stubs. There is also nothing stopping the people that keep claiming it’s a baseball game no reason to invest or play the market. If you don’t enjoy doing it then don’t do it. There was zero reason to make a 20 card limit other than them being greedy knowing that many people didn’t have to spend actually money on stubs.
