Good/Okay and Fielding Issues will Ruin this Game if not Fixed Soon

As practically everyone else has come here and stated, this game is an absolute joke and in a terrible state right now.
From outfielders (and infielders) looking like they’re playing baseball for the first time...to the numerous good/okays when they ball is almost dead center of the PCI....this game is in a precarious spot and the next patch or two are going to make or break this game.
With pitch speeds being faster, PCIs smaller, and timing windows being totally [censored] up IMO, getting “okay” contact for weak flyouts with the likes of Trout, Reggie etc. is game breaking. Just makes it totally unenjoyable at times.
This game feels like it is HR or bust or perfect/perfect to get any type of good exit velo
Pitching is still pathetic as well. And for context sake, I’m sitting at 36-6 and still find myself not enjoying the game....just stating this to negate the counterpoint of “get good”
Wow, this game really took a turn for the worst since the initial patches and if this game isn’t corrected soon, I can see myself playing less and less going forward and it’s crazy to think I feel this way in April already.
Wake up SDS

They are probably taking their time to make sure the next patch actually fixes some of these fielding issues, so they don’t rush it again. Game has only been out for a month.

I completely agree on all-star difficulty, but my HOF experience has been great. I probably get 1 good/okay on really good placement every 3-5 games, but you’re rewarded so much more for good placement and timing than you are on AS.
I’ve just been playing the event because I’m trying to finish up collections, and I think it’s playing close to perfect other than the fielder issues I’ve been having on occasion.

Very true...I did just hop back into the new RS and had back to back games on AS even tho starting at 700. But still, I find the same things above to be an issue on HOF and Legend but you’re right, to a lesser extent.
Still equally frustrating but as the other member said above, it is only a month in but still sad how fast gameplay went downhill with the initial patches
Just voicing my frustration in hopes that gameplay will he improved and I’ll leave it at that

I haven’t played much legend online yet. I’ve just been building up my team and trying to finish collections, but HOF gameplay is pretty phenomenal now that I’ve adjusted to the timing windows. the smaller pci seems to eliminate a lot of the inconsistencies of pci feedback on all-star. The fielding issues are still there, but I genuinely enjoy the hitter/pitcher dynamic.

Shouldn’t have the simple problems like fielding a routine fly ball in the game. Do they not play test the product before selling the game?!
