you would think if they were gonna neglect the live rosters and focus on legends that they could at least use A.I. for the players they never got scans for. At the very least have them use the companion app and send in a face scan

@polkrout_xbl It's the same in all sports games. Some players don't want their face to be scanned for their own privacy. Shedeur Sanders doesn't have a face scan for that exact reason.
Honestly, I don't care about face scans, I only care if the game is playable.

SDS legally cannot ask players to get their faces scanned per their contract with the MLBPA. There’s a stand at Spring Training and players voluntarily show up and have their faces scanned. If players don’t show up, there’s nothing they can do. How many times has this been said?

Many, MANY times. I guess the community is just people who complain the game is the absolute same, then spend $100 on the Digital Deluxe Editon. Classic gaming.

The only thing I’m curious about when it comes to scans/player models is if the face scans are done during Spring Training then why don’t we get all of those scans within the first month of the season? Why are the new ones slowly leaked out throughout the year? I only ask because as a franchise player it really sucks to constantly have to restart a franchise in order to get the new realistic scans.

I think it’s a good point to make that it’s slowly leaked throughout the season, which is cool that more scans are added but specifically for Franchise players, it’s really disappointing

@TheBigPapa55_PSN we found SDS’s burner lol shutup bro and give me a break. It’s 2026 and the non scan models are horrific. Fans have a right to want the most realistic game for $100. If they can’t get real scans for a player, at least improve the detail on the non scan model. What they have right now is lazy and looks terrible. It’s ppl like you who give SDS the comfortability to put out a lazy product every year.

I agree 100%. I can understand not being able to get everyone’s face scan but the faces they use for players who don’t have a scan are terrible. It just takes a little bit more time to get them to look more realistic. You can see in uploaded rosters from the community that it’s possible to make players look more realistic without having scans.

And I know they don’t care, that’s my point imbecile. Fans care and so should they. They obviously have lost their heart and attention to detail when making these games and it’s been apparent for years. At least I speak with a sense of realism (not sure why my gamertag is being brought up here, that's kind of irrelevant). I've given up trying to root or push for a innovation with SDS because quite frankly you're wasting your time, breath, and energy.
