Don't you think that for the sake of MLB The Show's fame and fans, it would be fair to update the faces as much as possible? Players like Caleb Durbin have a generic face that doesn't resemble the characters at all, and I'm sure there are other players in the same situation.

I was hoping they'd fix it with today's roster update, but nothing... they didn't even update his position, it seems.

They don’t add any relievers like Ben Joyce, Justin slaten, Erik sabrowski, Matt svanson, Cole Henry, Tyler Phillips, Kyle Nicholas, Ryan Johnson, Seth halvorsen, grant Taylor, Troy melton, Braydon Fischer, Luke little, Brendon little, mason montgomery! grant Taylor, Tyler holton, Brant hurter, etc
They clearly make no effort to add international pitchers , relievers , prospects. Like Luis morales! Brandyn Garcia, Daniel palencia! Juan morillo, Juan Mejia, Elvis Alvarado, Jose Fermin, eduarnial nunez, dedniel nunez, Eduardo Salazar, didier Fuentes, Edguardo henriquez, yariel Rodriguez, Keider montero, Luis Peralta, j. Clintje, they’re basically all missing ! Alzolay is missing for whatever reason!
PLEASE do better!!!!!! Or figure out a way to load the new updates to our previous roster/ game mode saves!!!!!!!! Way too many top prospects missing!!!!!!!!!!

you would think if they were gonna neglect the live rosters and focus on legends that they could at least use A.I. for the players they never got scans for. At the very least have them use the companion app and send in a face scan

@polkrout_xbl It's the same in all sports games. Some players don't want their face to be scanned for their own privacy. Shedeur Sanders doesn't have a face scan for that exact reason.
Honestly, I don't care about face scans, I only care if the game is playable.

SDS legally cannot ask players to get their faces scanned per their contract with the MLBPA. There’s a stand at Spring Training and players voluntarily show up and have their faces scanned. If players don’t show up, there’s nothing they can do. How many times has this been said?

Many, MANY times. I guess the community is just people who complain the game is the absolute same, then spend $100 on the Digital Deluxe Editon. Classic gaming.

The only thing I’m curious about when it comes to scans/player models is if the face scans are done during Spring Training then why don’t we get all of those scans within the first month of the season? Why are the new ones slowly leaked out throughout the year? I only ask because as a franchise player it really sucks to constantly have to restart a franchise in order to get the new realistic scans.

I think it’s a good point to make that it’s slowly leaked throughout the season, which is cool that more scans are added but specifically for Franchise players, it’s really disappointing
