Question for Switch owners

Bought Switch 2 for Christmas; figured I’d buy The Show and use it when PS5 is unavailable or on business trips. But dear Lord…
Is it just because it isn’t optimized as a S2 version, only S1? It is so pixelated in handheld I can barely read/guess the player ratings in game, it’s hard to see the ball against pixelated background.
And the input lag is atrocious when docked, and barely tolerable handheld. I can’t use the S2 controller Pro with handheld as there’s still a not insignificant lag. Had to change my input to compensate for lag and the joycons’ not so great analog controls. I basically can use it only for TA Moments because it’s Veteran.
I’m utterly disappointed; how is it on Switch? Have you compared with S2?

I played 25 on switch and then jumped to switch 2 when i was able to get one. The improvement between 1 and 2 was night and day, so my guess is if you tried 26 on the original switch, your disappointment would be multiplied x10
