Very underwhelming way to kick the year off with newly added & updated face scans. They definitely had much higher priorities for this year’s game and that’s completely fine. Hopefully we get plenty added in via each game update like we did last year.

@bleachfro_MLBTS nope…. I’m hoping the first few Game Updates we receive come with a lot of newly added or updated scans but it’s hard to tell. The lack of what we got off rip this year is beyond underwhelming. But they were consistent last year with adding them in during the season so I’ll hold out some hope for that.

Cam Smith, Joey Loperfido, Brice Matthews and Zach Cole... really hoping these guys can have scans/offline cards after the first roster update since they should all be on the Astros 26 man roster.
It'll never make sense to me how guys can get online card art but not offline card art.

@DTC1313_PSN It’s the main reason I’ll never preorder as a franchise player. I just can’t understand why they don’t add all the face scans they have at the very beginning.

@bleachfro_MLBTS not every player agrees to get scanned and they can’t scan everyone at once. Players have to go to them to get scanned. Either at the studio which is rare or at spring training.

@carryTHEflag117_PSN I fully understand that not everyone agrees to get scanned. I just don’t understand why all the scans they DO have aren’t released right after the season starts. Or even the first month. It’s just rough for franchise players to constantly have to restart their franchises just to get the latest scans which are slowly leaked out throughout the year. It doesn’t matter to everyone but for those who want the most realistic looking game, it does matter.

Face scans in sports games is a big thing for me. MLB 25 was my first mlb game and It was nice seeing a lot of scans added in updates. I hope this year they add them in quick and get a lot on opening day.
