Find it wild sds still hasn't said nothing about the complaints nor do they care

My understanding is they responded saying the change was intended to stabilize the market, as per the TBR guy.

I don't really think this deserves some big statement from SDS, its not the scandal that people are trying to make it out to be.

The one people havent been calling them out on that needs addressing is why the WBC choice cards are in the live series slots again after they changed that midyear last year to be in the miscellaneous slot.

I think flipping is a waste of time and would rather just play the game... but that's MY opinion. If people enjoy flipping, then do it. You bought the game to play it your way - your money, your time.

I will never be affected by this 20 card max, and I think it's better to have super expensive live series cards. The collection should be and end goal, not something that needs to be done in the first week. But at the same time, you have to let the market be what it's gonna be. Once you start trying to control certain aspects of it, it goes downhill. There's absolutely no reason to limit someone from having any number of cards. I also think there shouldn't be set price min/max for each rarity. Let cards cost what they cost, and let people buy what they buy. Imagine owning a small house in a sought after area, and only being able to sell it for 100k, because that's the forced limit of houses that size? Not the greatest example...

@Teak2112_MLBTS actually it is a big deal, there’s a reason why so many people are mad. People literally play the game to invest and for others it’s one of the main things they enjoy. Them not releasing before the game dropped that they did this is what you’d call “lying by omission”. They left it out because they knew people would be upset like this and some wouldn’t even buy the game because of it. They had hours of live streams to mention it and never did because they knew it would upset people and cost them money.

usually within 4 weeks, i'm 2 days behind right now because of the "unexpected server error issues". Last year it was about 3 weeks. I pulled Judge, Witt and Skenes big boys so far. I'm at 290k stubs. I think i'll be ok.

@gypsea99_PSN actually, i know alot of people who prefer flipping/offline grinding over say Ranked. For them, that's why they buy the game. I like a mix of both. Packs suck, so you have to flip. Take away flip, force folks to buy packs, packs suck, they flip the deuces and play a different game. SDS does what then?

@LIONED-33_XBL you are in the 2% that actually get good pulls. I've opened over 100 packs and have pulled 1 diamond (not 88), for us mortals, we gotta flip.

Wonder if this limit will help overall prices stay lower. Will wait and see. If it doesn’t I wonder if they remove cap. Also thought of this guy bragging on NCAA football forums how he loved stock market and didn’t really play the game but flipped so much and got so much wealth that he would buy multiple LTDs and control the market on the cards.

I am thinking that it may help for guys who jump tiers, say from gold to diamond.

When all those players who invested in a gold player quick sell their cards when it hits diamonds then all those cards are just gone from the marketplace, making that card rarer than it should be.

Yeah I bought a bunch of Merril Kelly last year when a silver and since was on my fantasy team just knew he had to go up. But the profit was only like 500,000 and still feel could have finished live series. Don’t think I even used that money for that and went after that 95 Berkman where you had to collect for him.

Maybe turn up pack odds would calm down the investors upset about cap. Or have opportunity packs like NCAA for 100 stubs can try pull a diamond or common.

It hurts to see SDS turn on their NMS community like this, investing was not only a good stub method, but it was a aspect of the game that felt fun, I really hope this can be changed at some point because this move is simply a cash grab

I'm really disappointed that they took a fun aspect of the game away from us. This was a great way to interact with the game that other sports games do not have and now its gone. Just a huge bummer. There are other ways to handle bots and market manipulation, while letting actual players enjoy the game

I’m not buying it that THAT many people buy this game just to play the stock market the way it’s being made to seem by some of the posters here. My hunch is that a vast, vast, vast majority of the players playing this game have never had more than 20 of a single card in their inventory purposely in their entire time playing this game.
