Removed Player Age and Birthplace on cards?
-
I’m watching the livestream and noticed that players no longer have their Player Age or Birthplace listed on the card profile. Is there a reason for this change?
For example, with Birthplace Captain cards, players won’t have any way to know where someone was born without manually looking it up outside the game. That adds unnecessary extra steps, especially since birthplace information was previously available (even though some locations were incorrect in older games).
As for player age, it was a really cool detail for certain series like Veterans, 2nd Half Heroes, Signature, Rookie etc... pretty much every card series where it was nice to see how old a player was during that specific point in their career represented by the card. In this new installment, I don’t see player age displayed anywhere on the card.
This feels like an oversight and honestly a step backward in terms of quality-of-life features.

This is absolutely crazy to me. I can't even start a franchise mode without this info. It has to be in a patch at some point, right?

Thanks. I was wondering what happened to it.
In NHL, with Alumni players, their actual age, right now is on the cards.
It's hilarious seeing dudes 65 and up, flying around the ice! -
If there was a Captain card for a country won't the filter be applied when you select "Boosted by Captain"?
