Players still not locking onto the ball

I saw in the patch notes they fixed this issue, which I’ve only seen once before. Today I’ve seen it twice, which cost me a game and a couple of my buddies have sent me videos of their players not locking onto a ball and just letting it roll right past them or drop right beside them. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yeah despite SDS saying they fixed the issue (twice), they actually managed to make it worse. You're not the only one

I have to be honest, I think it’s worse. It’s happened to me more since the patch than before, not kidding.

“Cost me a game”.....yet we still have players attacking others with “you lost to a better player” whenever these issues are brought forward. Seriously, how can they be so in denial that this game sucks?

for a period of time last night it was making my outfielders lock in super early. Then it made my outfielder lock in early but out of position and he just dropped the fly ball.

I lost 3-2, the play where he didn’t lock on to the ball let in a run. But he also hit 2 solo homeruns. Players could argue if I didn’t let up 2 solos then I should have won but it’s whatever. I just want a game I love to be fixed. If pitch speeds are going to be absurd at least don’t have these crazy errors happening.

Sucks man, the game literally gifted your opponent a run. That should not happen....period.

I honestly never had an issue in the field though I'm mainly an offline guy but ever since the patch came out saying they fixed it, I'm getting these nonsense errors all over the place now. Sadly, I wish they left it alone lol

I've had Eddie Mathews get domed off the face 2 games in a row. 1 allowing a run. I lost the game I didn't allow one on this play, but the next batter hit a home run.

I have had it happen 3 times in 1 game, 1 time was cuz Soto missed a line drive that hit his glove? Lmao but lost 3-1 bc of the 3 errors from the game. ‘19 only had it locking on during foul lines, now it can happen anywhere. How does one produce a worse product

Happened to me today too. Definitely not fixed.
I am nervous every time my opponents hit a flyball now. The player just keeps moving and does not lock in -
This almost screwed me over on my 12 win BR run today luckily I put up a 5 spot in the bottom of the 1st right after it happened.

has happened to me more times since the patch

I lost a game due to my hitting and my good ok line drives and fly outs.... So only mustered 1 hit so its probably me... But I struck out my guy 16 times and let up a run to a bunt suicide and errors from mantle and Gwynn.. Fly balls.

Yes, still happened to me last night.

Had this happen more Lastnight than I have in the past 3 weeks. First game I lost 2-0, fly ball to Rickey in center and it just hit off his face, next better single makes it 1-0. The second run was a solo shot but being down 1-0 instead of 0-0 changes the feel of the game.
Second one was gallo running toward the foul line in right and just not locking into anything, just kept running right by the ball for a triple.
