Switching from PS5 to Xbox
-
We have an Xbox and a PS5. My son plays on the PS5 all the time so I will not have as much access to the game. The Xbox collects dust. I was thinking about getting The Show for it however, do I still have my legacy status from all the years I’ve played on PlayStation? I’d like to be able to order and get the discount, as well as get the extra packs for being loyal. Does anyone know how this works?

I know this will sound weird but how old are you and your son just a random question honestly. Also this was quick research so take it with a grain of salt.
If you mean by like having progress from the earlier versions transferred to Xbox from Playstation and on MLB The Show 26, no you cannot. You can't transfer progress and purchases from Playstation to Xbox (or in other cases, Xbox to Playstation). -

A dev would have to confirm this, but if you have your accounts linked I dont see why it wouldn't work.

Edit: for that 10 percent off I'm not sure, I think the extra packs would(should)

Kuddos to you for playing the game that you enjoy. My son and I both have Xboxes in the house and both play the show religiously. We don’t even play against each other. We just enjoy the competition to grind stuff out and collect the cards. And for the teenagers in here I’ll be 43 on opening day. I see myself playing video games in my condo in Florida when I retire. I grew up with them, they have helped me stop drinking and living a healthier lifestyle and, besides golf, are a healthy outlet for my competitiveness that I filled with drinking after my college football days were over. You don’t have to be a teenager to enjoy these games.
