Has anyone seen or read anything about tweaks or updates here? Two of the best, most under publicized features of the game that opens up so much creativity.

No, as far as I know they have not mentioned it.
It's still possible that they mention Stadium Creator during the DD info. At least in my opinion they should mention it because it was such a mess last year. If they don't bring it up then I am not sure why we, as players, would assume that it has been fixed.
My fingers are still crossed that since they did not mention carrying over anything in the vaults in 25 over to 26 that we see a redesigned vault that avoids the issue of everyone needing to upload 10,000 duplicates of every stadium or logo they want to use.
