Graphics question

I recently switched from Ps to xbox. I also borrowed a monitor from a buddy to see if it helped and it did. I borrowed his acer predator and I was able to set my graphics to 1080 with 120 hz which helped a lot. The monitor was on his user settings and it was perfectly clear and running fine. But last night playing diamond dynasty the game froze while I was editing my team so I closed out the game and reopened it but now the colors are whacked out. It went from vibrant and clear to hazy and bright. Only after the freeze this started. At the Xbox home screen the colors look fine but as soon as the game loads up the monitor turns black and when it comes back on the colors are terrible. Game still plays fine but visually it’s terrible. If I set the monitor to the HRD setting the colors are better just way bright. I uninstalled the game and will redownload it. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem. Thanks
