100% buying the game, not so sure about preordering.

just preordered both MLB The Show 26 and WWE 2K26... it helps that Digital Deluxe for MLB The Show is $99.99 and got the 10% off that knocked it down to $89.99... every little bit helps... now I need to see if I'm going to get this Elgato or try to salvage the one I have

the ragdoll physics are supposed to be improved this year to make slamming people on steel steps, and I'm guessing steel chairs and such more viable... also added the ability to stack table on top of another table... these are yearly games that I play so it really doesn't take much for me to preorder... not to mention I didn't get games at launch this year so I'm just now getting back into my gaming groove... for the first time in a few years I actually requested off for launch... I'll have a full week to play WWE 2K with their early release being 7 days before their official release on the 13th which is also MLB's early release day before official release on 17th... so I'll be able to get WWE out of my system for most part before dedicating time to MLB and then from there go back and forth until NCAA/College Football releases

Weren't the servers terrible last year on early release?
I feel like last year I was like this sucks I'm never paying extra for pre-order. Were we getting kicked out of games?

I know I haven’t been around, but I’ll chime in.
I’ve bought the game every year since 2016, and before that, I’d usually skip a year because I (actually, we…my kids and I) played Franchise (until 2020). When cross-play came out, I bought an XBX and Switch and played it on all three platforms (when I travelled because one boy has an XBox and the other a PS).
I’ve been preordering for the last 5 years.
I won’t be buying 26, even with the 10% loyalty discount. I gave up on 25 very early and let my son play it (he plays RTTS mostly).
I know this isn’t an airport, so I won’t say what others have said. I do check in here every now and then just to read what everyone is doing with game. Have fun guys!

I will pre-order like I do every year. Same thing for my son for his version on the Switch.
I know it isn't a perfect game. I know there will be lots I'll say they should have or could have done. Overall though, I also know I'll get my money's worth by the end of the season.
And hopefully this isn't the year my son gets better than me at it ..

I went ahead and preordered. Went ahead and took advantage of the 10% of off and used some of my MS Rewards points to pay for it, since I can't currently use them for game pass gift cards.
