BREAKING: REDS TO RE-SIGN EUGENIO SUAREZ

I'm a bit surprised Imanaga took the QO. Some team would have likely offered something like 3 or 4 years @ $15 million a year.

With pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training for most teams tomorrow, we saw a flurry of moves occur over the last 24 hours like Marcell Ozuna going to Pittsburgh, the Marlins bolstering their rotation with Paddack, the ChiSox reuniting with Fedde, and the Rays signing Nick Martinez.
Also, I'm trying to get this post to 100k views. Not sure if it's been done before on the forum, but it would be cool. -
More signings today, the main one being Justin Verlander's homecoming to the Detroit Tigers on a 1 year deal (he joins the likes of guys like Albert Pujols and Tom Glavine). Aaron Civale signed with the A's and non-tenderee Jonah Heim goes to the Braves just to name a couple.

Free agency is pretty much done in terms of big name players. Spring Training games began yesterday (Pete Alonso of course goes yard out of spite), and the only two real players of note are Lucas Giolito and Max Scherzer. Scherzer is in talks with the Blue Jays about a reunion, so don't be surprised if that deal gets done soon. Zack Littell, Wilmer Flores, and Christian Vazquez are some other decent options.

Well, the Blue Jays brought back Scherzer on another one-year deal, and the Yankees added some nice outfield depth with Randal Grichuk.

The Red Sox signed their much needed lefty middle-reliever in Danny Coulombe. The Rangers added Jalen Beeks as well.
