These guys are running out of time

These players are running out of time. Even with a Retro Finest I don't see how they all get a 99. Not when you also have live series players who still need better cards.
(please let me know if my reporting tool missed any or included someone it should not have)
-
What I learned from last year is Jerry Hairston Jr isn’t getting a better card.
-
Some players don't need a 99 card, looking at Richie Sexson.
-
Not every player is gonna get a 99. That's just how it is, I know it sucks but you can't expect them to just give every player a 99.
-
If you are not going to give your legends good cards then why spend money on their rights?
Do all of their stats warrant a 99? Probably not, but the same could be said for numerous guys with a 99.
You can accuse me of hating the Yankees but Jasson Dominguez has not warranted a 99. He got one because he is a switch hitting Yankee.
-
My guess is that the 97-98s aren't getting another card. Dihigo, Thompson and Doby are basically guaranteed to but who knows when.
-
Guys like Gary Carter baffle me. Here were his cards 21-24

Now he just has an 80 that has been in the game since day 1 - Not a single upgrade
-
I feel like they did this the past few years when they were losing rights. Cards that didn’t get an upgrade weren’t back the next year. I remember John Olerud, Kirby Pucket, Heath Bell, Fred McGriff, and more not getting 99s their last year.
-
McGriff did but the others didn't
We still have some time to go and hopefully some retro finest cards coming.
