Protesting Buying Stubs
-
So we all (except for Yankees fans) are completely livid about how they get every card and have just got Gary Sanchez as the lightning card when they recently got Posada. I think we should all protest buying stubs until they treat teams fair.
-
Well, then it just becomes a vicious circle. Yankees fans are spending money on stubs to get al the Yankee cards. No other fan base spends that much so then they release even more Yankees.
Either way I think I have only bought stubs like once 8 or more years ago and won't ever again.

I bought $5 worth at one point this year after a good content drop (I assume color storm). but there has been very, very few good content drops the last two years. A couple nice programs, sure. But the bigger content drops for the most part havent actually been big

People buy stubs?
-
I've always protested buying stubs. Whenever I hear there's a stub sale, I just chuckle.
-
Very difficult to boycott something you aren't buying in the first place.

I have 690k stubs and have all collections done except for the July Spotlight for Griffey Jr and have 3 cards for the August Spotlight. Haven't bought any stubs so it's 100% possible to complete collections without spending money on stubs

@ABGdestroyer2011_PSN protesting since 2019 I guess

Welp, not all players can be glued to the app and the game 24/7. I think the price for 150k is downright criminal and refuse that price point. 50% off is tolerable in July. September stubs need to be 70% off or higher to get my cash. I want Chipper and to complete next collection quickly so I'll be patiently waiting to see if SDS is reasonable

Personally I'm happy to pay if it means more content and more legends. Stubs and RNG packs are a tough sell though.
