A guy with a .224 career average and 189 Home runs just somehow became one of the best hitters in the game.

Meanwhile Gary Carter will just be happy with his 80 overall gold card.
And Johnny Bench with his 86 overall card.

We also haven’t gotten a decent Mike Piazza Mets card since mlb 22

Anyone who has played Jim Rice or Gary Carter for more than an inning should get a prize mailed to their home. They are the true heroes.

Yeah. This so dumb. I get that the Yankees are the best franchise ever, but come on. We don’t need a new Yankee card every 4 days.

At least he hit .389 that month, I was half expecting it to be like .280

We go from Jr to Sanchez

Okay, let's be constructive. There are ways this card could be good. He could have some quirk called Lefty Crusher where he's super extra dangerous to lefty pitchers. He could have Double Pop Time, which lets him almost always gun down a base runner with good throw. But, he doesn't have those, does he? So...he sucks.

They could also give him a secondary at 2nd. Might be the only way I could fit him in my lineup
