The new and improved app The Show Scout

I just can't stop updating it even though I am not sure how many are using it. I actually update it more than I use it myself. Things I did tonight.
-
Standardized the reports more. Adding the Card Series into a lot more reports and trying to standardize the column ordering a little more on similar reports.
-
Links Everywhere - Now within every report that has a Team or Series column you can click on the team or Series to list the players that make up that team or series.
-
Even More links - The Pitch Types on the player detail screen are now clickable links that will display the top 50 pitchers based on that pitch
-
Piggybacking on number 3 - The AI and I (mostly the AI) categorized pitches into 3 types "Hard Stuff", "Breaking Ball" or "Off Speed" so that it did not use the same formula to come up with the top 50 changeup pitchers as it did for top 50 fastball pitchers.
-
Added a new Top 50 Pitchers by Pitch Type pre-built report that allows the user to choose the pitch and then the Top 50 pitchers for that pitch are listed. It uses the formulas I mentioned above to rank the pitchers.
Here, for example are your only three Palmball pitchers ranked
(Ranked by a weighted score. Formula for this category (Breaking Ball):
Score = (Break * 55%) + (Control * 35%) + (Speed * 10%))Rank Player Team Series Spd Ctrl Brk Pitch Score 1 Warren Spahn ATL All-Star 76 81 76 78 2 Cool Papa Bell FA The Negro Leagues 85 63 61 64 3 Bullet Rogan FA The Negro Leagues 77 64 59 63
If you are using it Check out the new additions.

If only you guys had as much passion.

let me guess top 5 players are all Cardinals.....
joking of course, great work Dolenz!
-
Hehe, he’d need to put in a search feature for former Cardinal relievers and what team to find them on.
Our theme team bullpen is mighty scarce now.

As an offline player I just use Lee Smith over and over. When I get him to P5 I may pick up the breakout Helsley

Man, the moderators of the MLB The Show reddit are just brutal. They just keep deleting my posts where I try and share this completely free app with other players.
It would be nice if they gave a reason for it because from what I could see I am not violating any rules.
-
Assumptions, they are most likely assuming you’ll turn it into a subscription app and they don’t want to seem like they’re promoting something they don’t control.

That would be my thought too but I tried to make it clear that it is now and will remain free. As a retired guy, getting some extra money would be great, but I am not sure there is enough polish in this app that I would ever even consider it as a possibility.
-
I would keep an eye on the usage and if there’s enough people hitting the app, instead of subscription, look at affiliate marketing or ads (within reason, no one wants to have to watch ads every 30 secs). There are tons of companies that will pay you a very small fee just for clicks, it adds up and could be a nice way to add a little $ for fun things.

Okay, based on some comments in another thread I got busy again
I have added a whole new Category of reports Eras and Immortals with the following reports
Best squad by decade is kind of flakey as many decades represented in the game don't have enough players to fill out squad.
Then every player in the game who is in the Hall Of Fame as a player has a indicator on their details screen beneath their picture. When you mouse over that Hall of fame indicator it pops up the induction information
