Seriously it’s time for a discussion about this.

If you are a baseball fan and own a pc, well you’re out of luck! Because this is the only major sport that doesn’t have a pc option. Every league has a realistic option there’s Madden, NBA, FC, PGA, CRICKET, Formula 1, NASCAR, BUT Americas past time (MLB) does not produce a PC game.

It’s no secret games run best on computer. There would be no 120 fps cap, refresh rates would matter, the file size could be larger and the game could be better. If you were a competitive player than there could be a level playing field.

If you’re worried about cheaters, then maybe let’s change the lobby system on pc. When your searching for a game show the opponents name on a list before the game. It could make it so you play more series, most of the top players know the people there facing against anyway. If they know there not cheating then anyone would play 9 innings against them. You can leave the console search in, and I’d still play on pc. I genuinely wanna see people give cheating a try in this game. A system of community reporting in the game would work, but you really can’t build a little software that recognizes when a player is cheating based of there timings/stats.

My point is that at this point it’s crazy not to have this game on steam or even if the games own launcher came out I would buy this game.

This doesnt happen because sds is owned by sony, who makes consoles, not pcs. I dont really see how your system could stop PC cheaters, downloading mods and turning the cheating device on and off would be too easy. Also, PCs would make the game essentially pay to win, as whoever has the better setup (better frame rate) has a huge advantage, as this game is dependent on maximum refresh rate.

As a long time PC gamer (my first PC was a Commodore Vic 20 in 1982) I will say that games definitely have the potential to run better on a good PC. But on the flipside PC players are also the ones most likely to complain about poor performance thanks to the myriad of hardware and setups that players will try to run it on.

The reason there isn't a PC version is it wouldn't make enough money for SDS. Trust me if the profit was there they would do it.

Pc would absolutely destroy this game. We have enough cheaters and spammers as it is now on console.

Consoles are very much PC's. The advantage to the video gamer industry is that the configuration is the exact same among all consoles, making debugging and coding to support the platform vastly easier than it is to write a video game for a traditional PC. The reason is that PC's feature an almost limitless combination of operating systems, hardware, and other configurations controlled by the customer.

Consoles can be hacked just the same as can PC's, and the nefarious types who hack computers already know how to hack video game consoles.
