Only people who use Tony Gwynn would use him. Thing is he signed an exclusive deal with another game company so don’t count on seeing him anytime soon.

@fubar2k7_PSN People would use him for a long time if they made him the AL collection reward and gave him a 99 at release. I’ve been saying this about guys like Gwynn for awhile now and they never listen. They always gives us these guys too late in the game cycle to make them usable.

@yankblan_PSN We know that he will not be in the show this year. I’d imagine they did whatever they could to get him since he’s the only one they didn’t get.

I was impressed that he did his whole speech in English.
He was super funny, as well.
Up until yesterday's HOF induction, the funniest thing I saw him do or say was referring to Jeter as his middle-name, 'Sanderson!.' -
@TheGoaler_PSN He may have wanted as much as the rest of these guys combined. Was he that kind of star? Maybe for MLB and Internationally, but not for this game because they still can’t get their hitting engine to reward these types of hitters properly.

Theory is that most (all?) of the japanese players have signed licensing agreements with home nation companies that preclude SDS from advertising said players in their game.

From what I’ve seen on social media they are exclusive with a Japanese video game company.
