I was about to lose my mind

Been on a major, no, historic drought. In about 10 days, went from playing online (AS) and offline (HoF/AS mixed) to barely averaging a run per game on Veteran. Hit a HR every 4-5 games. Was enraged every time I played.
Was about to join the tin-hatters about gameplay manipulation.
I remembered thinking a couple of days ago how the picture was so clean and I’d probably grew too spoiled to appreciate it. Wait; MLBTS looking really nice? Then it hit me: my LG C3 tv updated just over a week ago and introduced a new crisp colour setting. There was a prompt I didn’t really read and clicked yes.
Found the setting; turned it off and voilà! Blurry image and early in BP on Goat. The crazy thing is in game mode, the settings menu is different and you have to go to advanced to have the full monty. All this time it was still in game mode so I didn’t suspect anything.
TL;DR the hitting is fine

@Barfy-Bad-Gas_XBL press settings (gear icon) should popup the gaming mode menu, not the all settings menu.
From there select All settings.
Go to general then external devices, HDMI settings, HDMI Deep Color (the new settings they added). Turn it off, it’ll will turn off Game optimizer.
Go back up to general/Game optimizer (it will bring back the gaming mode menu)
Toggle the top switch « Game Optimizer » back on.
From there scroll down to Prevent Input Delay and change from Standard to Boost. Voilà!
You’ll notice that HDMI Deep Color will have turned back on, but it should work like it did 10-14 days ago.
