Weekend Classic rating

I’ve been in the top 10 of my player pool for every Weekend Classic so far, except this one. I am currently 3-6 and just CANNOT get a big hit ever. Sitting at -88 rating. the weird thing is I still feel like I’m seeing the ball well and pitching well. Just not getting results. Am I just slumping or is something different this go-round? Would love anyone’s feedback!

You are slumping that is it. I was slumping last night and could barely get a couple runs. THen today I put up 16 and 13 runs in a game. Unless you are a machine you go through ebbs and flows in the game.

Well you could be slumping I know I an right now. The is actually the problem of WC ratings being bloated this time. Due to the shortened time between WC on about 2 weeks. There is alot of higher overall rated players in lower divisions. Prime example is Gold 2 where the top 25 rated players this time all have 1000+ banners. Unfortunately due to a shorted time period these individuals (no fault of thier own) didn't have time to play and make it to thier normal division. I previously went 4-2, 5-1, 5-1 in WC this time 2-4. In direct result due to playing 3 players who where clearly 1000+ players. I honestly don't fault them because not everyone can jump on and play 2-3 ranked games everyday to get back to where they were. It was just a bad design by SDS not thinking about this potential issue.

Oh yeah no doubt I’m definitely not locked in right now. It just “feels” different. Both of your responses make sense to me. Much appreciated! Won my last game, so hopefully this means I’m starting to lock back in a bit!

@chuckuluck_PSN brotha read some of the post I’ve made this week. I’m having the same issues. WC just doesn’t run smooth for me. It’s extremely tough I feel like I’m swinging through air and the game is running odd. I posted about it in other threads check it out

Hell I’m tired of seeing guys that are playing in the 900 and thousand rating lose on purpose to tank so they can just beat up on lower levels of WC. SDS needs to recode this next year so no matter you play in the division of your highest rating.
