Live Series: When do you begin to spend?

Hi Guys,
new to the franchise and the series since about two months.
I am progressing into completing the Live Series. Well, kind of. I am still 23 Diamond cards away (including Judge and Ohtani). And about 300 non-diamond cards.
Some teams are almost complete. I think I have 37 out of 40 cards for 3 or 4 teams. The rest of the teams, I am between 25 and 36.
My question: when do you decide to start to start purchassing the cards you are missing to complete each teams?
I have decided to begin to buy when I will miss only two cards for a certain team. Is it too late? Too early?
Since it is my first year playing The Show, my main goal is to unlock Rolen 99. To do so, I want to complete every team collection (except, maybe, LA and NY Yankees, at least at the moment).
So, I have money to spend (about 285 000 as of this morning). Mainly to complete collections required to unlock Rolen.
I also have 105 unopen Live Series packs (I spent the week-end completing tasks required to get unbuyable cards instead of opening packs!)
What would be your advices to me?

if you just mean spending stubs I started doing it when I had enough to complete a team. If you're going to try to wait it out to hit them all in packs you'll be waiting until MLB 27 is released.

As soon as you finish a team, go into that teams TA: My Journey, and go to Collect and collect their LS Reward.
Gives you a good chunk of TA: My Journey points.
I'd also try to finish as many teams that don't have an expensive Diamond. That way if another player is added later; you don't have to collect them.

I don't wait, I buy the cards as soon as I feel the card has a good price, the more expensive diamonds I will watch the market on for about a week or two to get a gauge on what his price will do, wait to get a good price on it but when I've thought the card would get an upgrade and get more expensive I've bought it before that happens.

I wanted Clemens, but with the newest drop of Allstars and Rookies, I e decided to forgo the Live series.
I have over 880K stubs, all the allstars including Ohtani & Judge & Now deciding if I just want to buy the Draft cards.
Either way, Youll need to decide which you want & go for it. -
