Is anyone else having trouble with this?

When an outfielder fields a base hit I press the left button to throw to the cutoff man . But lately it seems like the game is not registering the input properly causing wild throws or no throws . Im wondering if it's my controller or game?

Is it possible your button is sticking? This could cause the player to 'diuble clutch's so to speak and do exactly what you're describing.
