Stealing Bases

Just and observation but why is it that almost every player (between 65-75 speed and 50-60 steals) that steals a base against my team is Rickey Henderson? I play SS and I did a small sample size study and over 85% of attempts against my catchers are successful.

On the other side though I have over 90 speed and 81 steal and my % is 83, which is great, but it’s not over 85. Maybe it’s just me but I was wondering if anyone else is having the same experience?

Maybe your catchers have less arm strength and accuracy. Add that to not being as quick as the AI to jump to second. When I'm 2B or SS the success rate is typically less than 50%. However, my catcher is one of the better catchers. (Logan O'Hoppe)

Also, are you not slide stepping where as your opponent is to? Stealing is much easier against those that don't ever slide step with a runner on.

Have any of you had the issue where after the latest update you cant slide headfirst anymore?
