Getting places as DH instead of position as two way player on non-pitching days
-
I have 99 fielding, arm, and speed as well as overall pitching and position player rating yet it's a 50/50 shot whether I end up playing in the field or DH. I play SS on the Braves and the rest of the SS on the roster are trash, how do I stop DH on days in not pitching?

You've always had to to DH since two-way players started. Order will usually go SP, DH, SS, SS, DH, SP. The only time that changes is with injuries to you, or if you've climbed/fell a spot in the rotation. Even if you're a primary position player, you will still DH before and after a start. Durability rating doesn't matter.

Ever since 22 (the year the MLB Contract forced having DH in place of pitcher[censored]ting in the batting lineup in the NL), 2 way players have had to DH the game immediately before they pitched, they game they pitch and the game immediately after they pitched. The only exception to this rule is if you pitch the final game of a 3 game series and the entire team has the day off before your next game. MLB The Show 21 is the last game where a NL 2 Way player never bat as a DH in the major leagues unless they were pitching against an AL team in a road series. The only downside to being a 2 way player for a NL team in The Show 21 was that you would also be forced to miss games entirely, usually the game immediately before you pitched.

I just wish you didn’t have to DH when it’s the final game of the set with a day off before your next start. It works the other way, but not that way.
