Pack luck lately

Good news I can finally contribute something to this post, I pulled Juan Soto but bad news it was on my 2nd account so I'm still missing him for my main account

Just finished a mega grind for TA and ended up with:
54 standards
6 Ballin
4 HeadlinersZERO diamonds. That's never happened to me in a big pack opening. Well the joke's on you SDS. I'm not any closer to ever buying stubs because of this so whatever.

Opened 3 packs today and pulled Ohtani. Finished live series. Can never complain about pack luck lol
What a day for statistics and a useless thread

This is what makes me scratch my head. Being constantly screwed over and disappointed with packs makes me want to buy stubs far less than if I was actually rewarded at some point.
Maybe desperation works on others but I feel for most people they just say to heck with this. I’ve opened hundreds of earned packs with zero success in multiple stretches this year. I’ve completed the entire color storm program and pulled zero high diamonds over 85 with all the free packs.
That is a ton of packs given the progress on the XP reward path combined with the color storm itself. It really feels like a giant slap in the face. Needing 4 cards to finish live series but it costing 1.3 million stubs, over $800, is extremely discouraging.

So far last two times I've opened packs right before I head off to work after 8pm, first night I packed 4 diamonds. 3 quicksell and trout, and last night....judge.....weird streak of luck. 2nd time for both judge and trout and I sold them both times. I'm on a weird challenge so no need to keep them. I only keep cubs cards or card I pull in packs and programs and their amount was too much to pass on. Very interesting challenge in my last year on the game. I just hate the reduction in gameplay xp so 99.9% it's my last year in the game.

Man, that sucks. Sounds similar to what happened to me yesterday.
I have the LS completed, but only because I got it done early. Remember the days of Shohei costing like 350K?
I open thousands of packs so yes I've had some good pulls here and there (Judge 2x but that was when I only got about 225K for him).
But strangely, almost every good pull I've gotten was in March and early April. Since then? Squadoosh.

Yeah, I pulled judge, trout, skenes, acuna and marte in roughly the first 4 weeks the game was out.
Since then, about 6 weeks and hundreds of packs later, I haven’t pulled anything of significance. That’s not simply a dry spell that’s a fundamental shift in pack odds due to a ton of new low diamonds diluting the pack pool.
It almost feels like PSA pop controlling 10s of high dollar cards to keep the prices artificially inflated. There is no way the 4 cards I’m still missing should total between 1.2-1.4 million stubs without the high end cards being made extremely scarce by design to keep supply low and demand high. Seems a lot like market manipulation but of course can never be proven.
