I’m still playing 24, as I won’t be buying 25. Recently I tried to steal second, and when I first saw the throw and rest of the play unfold, I was pretty sure I was out. Nope. I was actually called safe. I even went to the replay and confirmed what I thought. How does such a blatantly missed call like that happen? And how do neither I nor the CPU have the ability to challenge any plays not at first base when there is a blatant missed call? And lastly, why is it that the CPU never does a mound visit and can’t ever challenge any plays whatsoever?

Do you have your umpire setting to perfect? If not, they will miss some calls.

I don’t have it set to perfect since I enjoy having the occasional challenge at first base. So then that would really get into nobody ever having the ability to challenge any play that’s not at first base, which I would think they could and should change. And I don’t even mean a big expansion to it—because most of the time I’d like the initial call to be right. But having to use a challenge occasionally does add a little nuance to the game. And a small expansion is something I’d like to see.

Your original question. Now you know the answer to it.
