Enough with the CPU pitching

@Dolenz_PSN To me the "heart of the plate" would be that middle-middle box. Since I am grouping all the pitches into three categories, I have loosely expanded that term into anything that is clearly a strike and not a borderline strike/ball (basically from the middle of the plate towards the middle of the surrounding boxes) for this pitch tracking project I am doing.

@Sarge1387_PSN Over the past couple days I have been grinding out some steals (one game I got 63 steals, ridiculous!), I have been intentionally more patient and waiting for a good pitch when less than two strikes. This has improved the number of walks I get. I am getting at least one walk per game and I had one game with four walks. However, when I am grinding for program missions, I am not as patient and won't get a walk in most games. I will get the walks done eventually (I think I am already at 74) but it will probably be the second to last My Legacy programs to be finished (just before that IP program). Patience is definitely key to getting the walks!

I play exclusively Rookie and even I'm not seeing anything close to as bad as what OP describes. Usually every at bat starts with 2 way-outside balls followed by a very hittable pitch. The very odd time I may get to a 3-0 count. For the entire year I have 27 walks compared to 3,251 hits and 879 home runs. I'm definitely on the less patient side and prone to chasing bad pitches (I find it boring to have to wait 5-6 pitches every at bat for "my pitch") but I'd have way more walks than 27 if what OP said was true. My Veteran experience in Moments is way more strikes just inside the zone and balls that are barely outside.
Rookie feels like it tests your ability to spot bad pitches vs. meatballs.
Veteran feels like it tests your ability to move the PCI to the outside edge of the zone.
