Anyone else not getting called up?

I mostly play DD and Franchise modes on higher difficulty settings, but sometimes I enjoy using RTTS as a means of simple practice - almost exclusively on super easy settings (Minors and Rookie)
I’ve been doing a 2-way career with a focus predominantly on hitting and I can’t get called up from AA despite having hit 150ish homers and pitching to an ERA of 0.00 in my first complete season. OPS was literally above 2 for the full year, so it seems a bit ludicrous that I haven’t even been promoted to AAA. This was all following a college path and draft pick in the 2nd round.
Are there any hard cut-offs that prevent certain players from getting called up? As a reliever my tool numbers are much lower (despite an era of 0.00) so I’m wondering if that’s holding me back. OVR I’m listed at 75.

It can depend on the team. If you're a 1st baseman on the Phillies, they might hold you back until your ovr is closer to Harper's. It is usually dependent on your ovr. I usually don't get called up until around 75-80ish.
It is always dependent on your primary position. It is changeable for two ways and position players.
These are good for both 2 way and regular players. These helped me progress.
If you are a rotation starter, get that up first. It's easiest to do by increasing the H/9, HR/9, BB/9, and K/9 stats. You can usually go up by 1 when you increase all 4 at once. Wait on individual pitch stats until after you get to the show, like Velocity, Break, and Control. Don't touch speed until then either.
CP-Will take a while. I usually start with the H/9 etc + clutch and durability stats to get the ovr up, then move to Individual pitch stats in AAA. Haven't done this one much, but last time I got called up at around 70.
2-Fielding and power
3-Power
4-Fielding and contact
5-Fielding and power
6-Fielding, contact, and to a lesser extent speed.
7-Power and a little fielding/speed
8-Fielding, speed, and decent hitting stats.
9-Power -
The best way to get called up fast is to find a team with a deficiency at the position you play and choose that team. Example if you want to play SS find a team with a SS with a low OVR, chances are you’ll get called up faster.
In other words if you want to be a SS, you don’t want o be a KC Royal. You’ll never get called up unless Witt gets hurt
