Editing rosters

I'm new to mlb games. Just wondered if I put whatever players I want in to any team will I be able to use those edited teams in exhibition mode? I don't think there is an option in exhibition mode to use a saved roster

Edit your rosters the way you wish and then save them.
Go to file management in the main menu and click on load > rosters > custom and load your created roster.
This will be the active roster and can be used in exhibition mode.
If you just go to creation and change rosters, when you exit that mode, whatever changes you made will still be active until you reload or pick a different mode.
