Wind effects of batted balls

So I've been playing road to the show and franchise to take a break from online ranked seasons in diamond dynasty just because the game is so patchy and buggy. What I've noticed is in franchise is that obviously you can set the sliders for the wind to be full to the far right. Extremely windy or left with no wind. I've just noticed that even if you set the slider bar for the wind to the far far right? And if you hit a pot fly regardless of location, there doesn't seem to be much effect with the win on the ball. If you play again in Wrigley Field at hit a pop fly to Center field, it goes to centerfield directly. It does not fade or slice or a hook if that makes sense
