I haven't played The show since 21 so I'm not familiar with the content drop times. What time EST will the big collection drop?

The Legends and Flashback collection of collections. If you look at the collections under the Flashback and Legends, you'll see all the different type of cards series other than Live Series. The "big collection" will require having whatever the current largest reward for that series. In the past, to get the full collection, one would need all of the different series collections done except for one. There may be some smaller rewards that will need fewer series collections completed.

So I finished all the collections except for the egg hunt, the Negro League collection and the 20th anniversary collection. So what I'm asking is do you think those will be required to finish to get the big legend? I just started playing in September of 22 so I'm not familiar with how this all works so any feedback would help

@sbchamps17_NSW Most likely, based off the past, you will be able to get the big legend with only one series not being finished. Of course, SDS could change things up this year.

Well the Negro league collection cards are too expensive still and still need 3 cards to finish the egg hunt collection but those are all 12k and over and I only have 34k stubs. The 20th anniversary collection I can do just by getting CC from the mini seasons

@sbchamps17_NSW We will get more NLB cards whenever Storylines #3 drops. Also, see what drops tomorrow and the prices of a lot of the cards will drop after the big rush of getting cards today and tomorrow.

The last year we had Mega Collections was 2023. And the first one was Retro Finest George Brett on June 3rd. There were 16 different card types available at the time and you had to get a voucher for all 16. (For the Cover and Takasi cards, you had to complete each collection to get Mauer and Ruth respectively, which served as the vouchers.)

Later collections allowed you to skip one or two collections. But only those inside SDS currently know for sure the layout we'll see tomorrow.

@SaveFarris_PSN they should leave the Eggs one out; all the others are fairly easy to get (LS excluded of course).

I think some of you are about to be really bummed when they update this collection. Many say “finished” right now, but after they update them with how many cards are required for the voucher, they aren’t going to be “complete” any more and many cards are probably out of reach for people at this point because they haven’t completed the live collection.

To get the voucher for each specific collection, it is going to take a substantial number of those cards initially. It will get easier as more cards get added to each specific collection, but initially (and this is if you can even get to the voucher at this time) I would expect most if not all the cards in each.

@SaveFarris_PSN With it being much earlier than those years in the past, I’m wondering if we’re getting a 95 or so rather than another 99 this early. It also seems like these collections are mostly around only 80%.

@Pergo_MLBTS I’m hoping it will be the the best non 99 in the game. Anything less will be disappointing.

@GoozeFn_PSN I'm worried it's going to be Rolen because I was never able to hit with him back in the day.

@Pergo_MLBTS The problem with it being Rolen is we already have a great 3B in Headley. It’s a logical choice for them, but I would also dislike that very much. Ichiro makes the most sense. If it is him, I hope it’s a 99 because a 99 Ichiro is still going to be pretty low power. They never seem to give us these types early enough to use. I’ve been saying this for the last few years. Make the early 99’s guys like Ichiro, Gwynn, Ozzie etc. when they are actually optimal options.
