Drastic rating change in franchise?

So I'm playing a game on the road against KC as CIN in franchise mode, I was hitting homers left and right. I then noticed halfway through the game that Elly De La Cruz' vision rating was showing as a 60 (when it's usually something like 40 in my save) in the swing analysis box so I started looking at ratings. Everybody on both teams has major boosts or reductions in key ratings. Everybody's vision was boosted by 20. Every pitchers HR rating was lowered by 20. Their stamina was lowered by 10. This was for pitchers on Both teams?

Am I missing something here? Is this a Kansas City ballpark thing?
