Pause Menu Bug

I downloaded the new update this morning and stated a game of conquest.
In the second inning, I went to the pause menu to start warming up a pitcher in the bullpen. When I pressed the button to exit the pause menu, it wouldn’t let me. The pause menu wouldn’t work at all, I couldn’t select anything, and in the background, the batter was moving in the box. Like the game was running in place or something.
Anyone else encounter this?
