I see a lot of people talk up Ohtani and I know the hitting ability for a pitcher is a nice perk. But do people actually like pitching with him? For some reason, I cannot time up his throwing motion. I don't usually have that issue with other pitchers.

I like pitching with him, although his full windup is a bit funky. I also like having his batting stats in the pitcher spot.

He’s nasty! Throws serious gas, then has like a 72 mph curve

McKay prospect card is a nice dual threat as well.

I certainly understand the dual threat appreciation. I was just talking more of actually pitching with him.

He's great. 1 of my favorite pitchers to use.. (the FOTF Ohtani)
Batting wise, for some reason Im always facing a lefty when I pick Ohtani, soo mehh. Still better than a normal pitcher

People have bragged about how good he is. And who cares if he throws gas, my opponents still bomb off him left and right. His pitch location for meter is also horrendous.

His Bronze card is a must take in BR as well!

I don’t even want to get his FOTF card.. LS for me is 6-0 2.2 ERA and I K 8-11 a game. His FB has 97-100 arm side run and splitter IMO is one of the harder offspeed to hit that isn’t high and inside sinker. The stretch his slider is sweeping and hard to hit along with the other pitches. If I am in a tight game and he has energy, (I don’t have Kluber yet) but I would 100% do what more than half the community is doing with Kluber, and bring him out of the pen.

His throwing motion is a little off when you first start(using analog) but after some practice its actually really good and I hit spots a lot with him.

Was playing someone in RS who was using him. I had Neehouser going and was mowing him down then some how he hit an late/okay 340 foot oppo field HR with 93 exit velo on an inside sweeping curve.....smh

The FOTF card has been absolutely dominant for me. The 100mph fastball wrecks people.

I threw a perfect on all star in 9 innings, against DET for that Al Kaline program, but a perfect against any team with this AI is a feat
