Starting pitcher not getting used in post season RTTS
-
Here I am, second season in the major, 92 overall starting pitcher, ERA under 2, Cy young award winner, and my team goes to post season, including playing all 7 of the world series, and my pitcher never gets used, not once
-
Were you listed as 5th starter in the rotation at the beginning of the season? I’ve noticed that all teams automatically go to a four man rotation in the playoffs. If this is the reason, it’s a pretty stupid and avoidable one by the developers

MLB teams will only use four pitchers in the rotation in the post season. This is real life truth. The fifth starter will be sent to the bullpen to be used in relief.
Moreover, in best of seven series, it's not at all unheard of for teams to go to a three man rotation, using the number one starter in games one, four, and seven (if needed). By definition, this means that the pitchers at number two and three are the only ones needed for games two, three, five, and six.
The game code isn't written to factor in your seasonal stats when you are positioned in the rotation. You might have the best numbers, but your overall attribute number will determine your position in the rotation. To be the number one guy, you must have the highest overall pitching attribute among the starting pitchers.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL That makes sense I guess, but not even getting played in relief as a Cy Young winner for that season is crazy to me
