Everyone sees things different with the PCI set-up. You have mess around with it to find what you like best.

Seems like every day a different view does better, some make you see the pitcher better and rotation...some make it easier to see pitches going to outside and what clearly will be balls. I strike to strike zone 2 and switch to my custom for dirt pitchers that tend to throw low balls. It's each to their own.

Keep using the hitting view you have used, and just concentrate on moving the PCI to the ball, zone has a very steep learning curve with hundreds or thousands of at bats to get it down, but for you it won't take quite so long, probably 50-100 to get the hang of it maybe less.

    1. Strike Zone Camera
    2. A PCI that is not too obstructive. I use the bat with black color.

Here is an excellent video... It is older, but still very relevant and helpful:

I also use a Strikezone camera, 2 I think. One thing that helped me was to use the same camera for both pitching and hitting. That way, I saw the ball movement twice as much.

My preference is strikezone high , but everyone is different, try a few of them out and see which one works best for you.

Play with your Opacity too on your PCI. I found a less Translucent PCI to be districting cause my eyes focused on it more than the ball. That's why you see a lot of people talking about removing the PCI all together. Lowering your Opacity is kind of a happy medium. But as stated...everyone's different.

@xElRojo44x-_MLBTS Watching this video I’m amazed at how little the graphics have changed over the last decade.

What helps me hit the best I can, is using the Bat inner PCI, no outer PCI, set the color to black with 50 percent opacity.

I find the PCI to be a distraction as I tend to look at it and not the ball, so I prefer it to be as minimal as possible.

    I use Strike Zone 2

    Hope that helps!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, I figured I would try and learn it and move away from timing but use directional for the HR moments. Might definitely try and tinker with it to make it more to my liking and possibly trying the bat PCI

@sbchamps17_NSW Just be patient & take your licks…Zone is alot harder to get good at than timing or directional but it has a MUCH higher ceiling and is worth putting in the time.
