I recall that in previous MLBTS iterations, you could log into the community market from your computer and buy and sell items for stubs there.

Did they stop doing this? And if so, why?

It still works if you want to spend three minutes on recaptcha per order.

This makes me want to gouge my eyes out. I thought the desktop was more user friendly than the app originally

With the app, you can buy and sell in bulk (multiples of the same card), whereas in the browser, you can only do one at a time and pass recaptcha between each one...it's madness. I understand why - they are trying to filter out the bots, but for us humans, it is very tiresome.

I use the desktop app to view or cancel en masse and the phone app to place orders.

It didn’t even come up for me to buy and sell on the browser. Safari. Really strange.

They should really make the app better for the iPad. I have it on my iPad but it’s oriented in portrait basically. Sure buying and selling on the app is more convenient but it’s all crammed into my phone screen…
