For $500 you can buy most of the diamonds you need for live series..

i said most, not all. Anyone whos actually playing this game should have hundreds of packs and hundreds of dupes to sell on top of everything they've collected already.
Also, 400K is about 250 in stubs....so he'd still have about 400K to spend. Buy the lower priced, grind for the rest.

About 250 packs ripped maybe 7 golds. However, I got some big pulls last year like Judge and Ohtani (early in the year). Also pulled Hank day 1 and Ivan Rodriguez.

I have pulled plenty of diamonds but on a cold streak right now. I’ve gotten two Trouts as my biggish ones

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Fair enough I was using the 1K stubs is 1 dollar conversion not accounting for the bundles. But regardless One card being 250 doesn't inspire confidence.

Yeah but if hes normally 500 on stubs like he claims, thats about what hes always getting anyway. 1 high priced card (Trout the past few years, Ohtani now) and some low end diamonds.

I think it's just luck. 3 days in a row of opening earned packs for the day I pulled Tatis Jr., Mason Miller, Paul Skenes, and Jackson Merrill....now it's been over a week of playing everyday and pulling squat. It's very up and down but I don't think they nerfed the odds.

I've pulled quite a few 85 diamonds that weren't going for much, but can't complain because they still have value and recently have gotten some luck getting Skenes.

Pulled Skenes yesterday and sold him because I don't want to do the LS collection yet

I pulled a bunch of low end diamonds and got lucky pulling dupes so I went and bought a couple higher priced like Skenes and Tucker. Pulled them both within a few days of buying so I made most of my stubs back

I’m convinced the diamonds are gone lol. I know it’s pure luck but don’t think I’ve ever gone this long. I must be gearing up to pull Ohtani. I feel like the odds are ridiculous to begin with. The fact they start at 1:50 and get boosted to 1:8 tells you all you need to know. If the gambling addicts just stopped buying so many packs I’m guessing the odds would suddenly improve because nobody would buy packs. Earning free packs by grinding is one thing but buying packs is like throwing money away with the current odds.

Well this thread turns out to have some slight magic like the Stuck in Moment thread. After posting about my dry spell I pulled 3 diamonds out of 5 earned Ballin packs. Mookie Betts, Blake Snell, and All-Star Ronin Yount.

Hopefully the good luck spreads to all of us in this thread. The crazy part is that diamonds are so rare and most of them are 5-10K. The high end diamonds, over 50K, are probably like 1 in 500 packs or worse which is mind blowing. I get the supply and demand deal but feel like making the odds even semi reasonable would go a long way and not eat into profits in the least. I know personally that I have zero interest in buying packs because the odds are horrendous but if they were reasonable I likely would to try and finish collections.
