I was more talking about Ranked but I feel like CPU has been throwing a lot more balls. Have to take at least two balls in the dirt before i even get a pitch to hit

Yep, pretty much. The fact sinkers speed up and dart unnaturally is just annoying to begin with. In real life high sinkers usually get crushed because they are like a hanging breaking ball. They are designed to be thrown low in the zone to induce ground outs. Not dart in and catch the top border of the strike zone.

I think its an optical illusion because the sinker moves just as much as some breaking pitches, but has similar velocity to a regular fastball, making it look faster

Just wait until the 99 cards with 90’s control and break on the sweeper come out later this year. That pitch is going to be even more of a nightmare than the sinker.

I didn't need to wait,I hate it already.
It floats up there so nicely and after you take a dozen swings at it you realize it still isn't even halfway.When everyone was suggesting adding fictional baseball stuff in, I'm sure no one was asking for the bugs bunny ones.
