This year sucks

I'd be ok with getting my [censored] kicked with guys who have good input. But SDS has killed it this year with the weak and bloop hits. I finally had to log off after the opp. had 4 straight less than 80 off the bat "hits" to take the lead in the 8th. Game before that I was 6-12 on hard hits and had to sweat a 1 run lead all game. SDS needs to let people lose by a lot so they can play down to their real competition.

I mean it’s allstar so I don’t think it’s as relevant but in BR I hit 9 whole outs with all great contact and timing. Not perfect perfect but all really good timing and pci placement all 9 outs. Game over lol. There is almost nothing I could’ve done better my opponent won all late swings. Swung at every pitch and started pulling 0-2 balls out of the dirt for hits.
The game has a lot of potential. But the competitive edge in this game is dull.

@A_PerfectGame_PSN it’s wild someone can keep up when they strike out 75% of the time. I like they’ve nerfed homers, but shouldn’t have made up for it in the weak hit department.

Me personally I just dislike the inconsistency of the hit contact/feedback. For example, the CPU common and low bronze hitters start smoking the ball anytime the RNG/comeback logic kicks in late game, everyone in the lineup all start hitting like Bonds, with random input/contact.
But let me have diamond Last Ride Walker in there making at LEAST good contact in the middle of the bat against a RH scrub pitcher, then it's a ground ball/pop up factory

Man, you would've hated Rod Carew, he had about 3,000 of those
-
@betamax0_NSW biggest question is, was his EV better than 80 mph? Or was he just a lucky 3K hitter?
-
@Simple-Jack3998_XBL What was your pitching input? I am not experiencing this when my input is great. I do when I suck … or when I am behind by a lot of runs
-
@YOSHI24_XBL I wouldn't say my input is 100% accurate (rarely is) when this happens. But its good enough to jam or fool them to produce weak contact. I just find it funny that some 73 MPH EV will fly 300 feet, while others might go 200. RNG needs to slow its roll.

Jepp, that reflects my experience. Gotta be very good … I would not call it RNG
