Here's a content creator exposing one live. Blatantly obvious it happens and it happens a lot more than we think. People using these are smart enough to know when to activate and deactivate it so they don't look 100% guilty and get banned. Cheating is in every competitive game out there. Sad reality
Yeah, I wouldn't put any thought into what Kyle says or posts. If he's winning; he's the greatest player ever. If he's losing; he's getting cheated.
You can set a clock to it.

He is not exposing anything. He is suspecting his opponent to watch his stream. Maybe it is smarter, if you would watch „the proof“ first before posting?

This was a stream sniper on Twitch. Not the kind of cheating the OP is talking about.
His opponent was doing the same thing as (stealing pitches). He was watching the stream knowing what pitch Kyle chose and where he was throwing it. Way different than the cheater every other player runs into. -
Unfortunately there are cheaters. I know this to be fact as a popular hacker posted the video for everyone to see. SDS is unaware so they haven't been able to ban it. There are videos on Tik-Tok and YouTube of a few streamers sharing the video.. I will not be posting it here for obvious reasons but I will say this so you know what to look for and report. The program puts a little black box on the side of the screen that essentially tracks the balls movement.. The box will turn red if it's a ball, green if it's a strike.. The tracker controls your PCI so you just have to do the timing.. Or, you can even set the program to swing as well and let it play for you. This can also control pitching and allow you to get perfect pitches every time, all you have to do is aim where you want to pitch, press the pitch button and the program does the rest. This program isn't widely known about and very few people are cheating.. But these are things to look for..
- Someone making solid contact every single plate appearance.
- Swinging at every pitch and getting good results. People with this program will likely be more swing happy. This game rewards patience and the best players are patient.
- Perfect pitches every single pitch. (VERY hard to do if you're not cheating, although not impossible)
- An unusual amount of home runs off of pitches way out of the strike zone. 1 or 2 home runs isn't unheard of in this game. But it someone is making solid contact and hitting home runs and swinging at everything.. They've either mastered bad ball hitting, or they're using this program.
And please, if you find the video I'm referencing DO NOT share it. Exploits like this are very hard to ban. I just want to spread awareness to the community to report some of these players so that it is on SDS's radar.

@ViKiNG861987_PSN I know which video you're referencing, the program itself was rather interesting and unique. There is also a community script from Cronus available, so those users have access to certain mods that can be enabled/disabled on command (both Xbox and PS).
I'm a .500 record player but my ERA is rather solid, neared WS and have over 200 ranked games this year. I don't think it's easy to spot, but there have been games I've played where my pitching was great and regardless of the pitch/placement they just laced them.

I'm an ok player , I rely on pitching mistakes to get hits . When my opponent consistently dots his pitches and gets perfect inputs on almost all pitches regardless of location and ptch type, I can't hit and I get suspicious. Some pitches are difficult to get perfects consistently like a righty sinker dotted on the inside corner of a lefty batter . Circle changes on pinpoint are difficult to get perfect all the time . Regardless you gotta try to beat them .

There's another small cheat in coop, your opponent will start downloading something on their console, even if you're the host it only has an effect on your gameplay, it runs just fine for them.

Have any of faced players who use a pitcher and that said pitcher is not the one you’re actually facing in game? Was going up against Bailey ober in 2v2 and was throwing 103 with a screwball so really we were facing satchel Paige. And vice versa the next game against the same players.

There aren’t that many in this game. You probably got beat and sorry. This game isn’t in a situation like COD is and I hope it never does.

That's a very interesting choice of words you use. First, I assume you mean SDS when you say "they" and I assume you think SDS actually has a legitimate option available to them to prevent people from cheating in online competition games.
OK, let's think on that a bit. MLB has a rulebook that is very thick indeed, and they employ at least four highly paid professional umpires to be on the lookout for cheating and to rule against it in the game should it happen. MLB also employs a big staff of folks heading by a highly paid executive director whose job it is to investigate complaints or suspicion of cheating that the umpires failed to catch during the game. All that being the case, we know that players and sometimes whole teams still get away with cheating and certainly try to do so from time to time.
Given that, within a league of 30 teams and about 1,000 players, coaches, managers, and GM's, how can it be reasonable for you to expect SDS to prevent cheating in all perceived forms within a community of millions of customers who play their game?
Some people cheat. Moreover, some people perceive cheating when in truth none is happening. It's part of the game and I think SDS has devoted more than enough code time to try to tamp down the worst of it. Frankly, stop expecting perfection within a very imperfect world.
Finally, we have a myriad of laws on the books, and yet, we still manage to fill up most all of our prisons. That should put it fully into perspective!

@ViKiNG861987_PSN I think I had this happen to me yesterday. I was up 6-0 at the end of the 8th inning and my opponent had 1 hit. Then in the 9th he started connecting with EVERYTHING. I swapped pitchers every 3 batters - Made no difference. After shutting this guy down for 8 innings, I couldn’t get one out. He won 8-6 and I never even recorded an out. This was both our play in game for WS too, Which made it even worse.

Yup, I agree with this take. Some pitches are just harder to hit like the ones you mentioned, and some guys are just that good...but very few. I'm not WS calibre by any stretch but I'm good enough to know when something ain't stirring the kool-aid

won't help. I got almost all the cards from flipping and I still lose. Aging is undefeated.

This is why I'm happy the game is not on PC.
If you look at PGA 2K25, the entire online is PC cheaters.
If you're on console you can't compete with guys shooting -50 for a round and -90s or better for 4 rounds.
I gave up on PGA 2K25 for this reason.Some ppl saying people are that good at golf but that's b.s. It's been proven on reddit that PC players who cheat are using controller mods.
Just completely broke that game for me. If MLBTS goes that route then they need to separate PC and console.
