Why is it taking so long
-
Well, then if that's the size of it true enough, you stand alone far as I know as one among many who isn't getting the same result as the rest of us. As for me and mine, I got promoted each and every time I exceeded the dudes ahead of me.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL You seem knowledgeable on this. For the newer system with tokens for OVR number, are there stats that should be raised that increase your OVL faster? For my pitcher, I maxed out FB & arm strength and some in H9 ect.

I wrote up a thread on this topic. Check the RTTS forum, you should find it. Covered perspectives in detail.
Cheers!

This might not be relevant anymore as I haven't done rtts since 2017,but it now works similar to then.
How's your fielding ratings? back then they sometimes wouldn't promote you if your fielding wasn't at least equal to the guys ahead of you,no matter your ovr or position in the depth chart. -
@jgreene6142_PSN per nine will raise your pitching stat faster than anything else...to start 1 level in "Per Nine"(?) next to Big Game, equals 1 new pitching level... eventually it is 2:1...I got to 99 pitching... really fast then I went in and upgraded my individual pitches. But the fastest way is to put points into per nine.

My pitcher is 87 is in AAA, the top pitcher in MLB 83 I’ve received a call from the farm director 2 months ago. Still not moving anywhere.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I’m in May of the second AA season. Right fielder in the Guardians organization. I’m a 72. The AAA right fielders are 64, 66, and 67.
I’ve always had excellent stats. One series I got a call from a scout and they said if I impressed them I would likely be called up soon after. I got a hit in every game. One game I went 4-5 with a home run and 4 RBIs.
Never got called up.

I've regularly played RTTS in MLB 21 right up to 25 using every release in between and I have not once seen any exception to what I wrote about how the promotions work.
That's all I'm going to say on the subject.

@djwoody981_PSN i got called up within 50 games to the majors from double A to triple A I was able to play 114 game in the mlb season 1 maybe its just yall

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’ve created 3 different rtts players this year and they’ve all been brought up prior to the all star break. I know it’s a pain but create a new player and see what happens. Also pick a middle of the road team with a position player who is average to below average. It’s going to be a pain to grind again but you may have better luck

35 games into my third AA season now. I’m a 77. Triple A RF is around 69 I think, and the MLB RF is an 80. I’m hitting .360 with 30 rbi and 8 or so home runs. Every time I get called to the manager’s office he says my performance is “unsatisfactory.”

It seems the only way to level up if you’re playing a position players to play it two way until you get to the majors. There are just not enough opportunities to get points as a position player. I looked at the gold glove awards and the person that’s leading the Golden Globe awards six months and has had like 1000 opportunities at first base. When I pull up my personal stats, I’ve had 43.
