Three Batter Minimum?

Is this rule not in place anymore in DD? I just had a guy change pitchers for consecutive batters, and one was in the middle of the at-bat. I searched the forum and didn’t see anybody else ask this

Was it a 3 inning game? If not, I think they broke something else in the update.

@GoozeFn_PSN This is a good change because 3 batters in a 9 inning game is equal to 1 batter in a 3 inning game.

No. It is exactly:
- 9 Inning game: like real MLB, so the pitcher has to face 3 batters per inning. This offsets when the inning ends. So technically you can switch a pitcher with 2 outs, get 1 out with him and have a new reliever starting the next inning
- 3 Innings: A pitcher only has to face 1 batter
