Multiple substitutions

Yesterday I suffered my first forfeit, because I was too slow … The main reason not being able to substitute multiple players at once (I like to use my bench in late innings, so I like to swap in good fielders). But everytime I sub somebody out, the game resumes. I have to go back and do it … Am I missing something or how do you do multiple switches in one „pause session“?
