Alright, I got some ideas for MLB 25. Some card series ideas of mine:
Payday - players who got the big bucks.
Retro WBC - players from old World Baseball Classics prior to 2023 - Daisuke Matsuzaka, Adam Jones, Mark DeRosa.
Field of Dreams - notable players from the 2021 and 2022 Field of Dreams games - Tim Anderson, Giancarlo Stanton, Drew Smyly, Seiya Suzuki, Ian Happ, Donovan Solano.
Little League Classic - very similar to the Field of Dreams idea.
GOAT Series - greatest players of all-time at each position - Honus Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Ruth, Mays, Aaron, Bench, etc.
Yearly Series - players from a specific team & year - 2007 Rockies, 1986 Mets, 2000 Yankees, 2004 Red Sox, etc.
Retro Topps Now - Topps Now cards from the same month but a different year - April 2007 let's say.
Defensive Highlights - Since defense matters a lot more now, why not shout out some great defensive plays - Kenny Lofton, Mays (again), Endy Chavez, Yoenis Cespedes, Mookie Betts, Vladimir Guerrero, Ozzie Smith, etc.
New stadiums - MLB World Tour stadiums like the Tokyo Dome, London Stadium, Gocheok Sky Dome, and stadiums in the U.S. like the Little League Classic stadium (Bowman Field), the Field of Dreams, and Rickwood Field.
Franchise mode having the World Tour - when you play with the Dodgers or Cubs, your season will start on the 18th of March in Tokyo - the Mets and Mariners will have the Little League Classic.
