Before I get roasted for saying this, I know I’m in the minority. But…

There should be a way to turn off no doubt home run animations entirely. I generally do not like them at all.

I will say I do like the change this year where they somewhat zoom in on where the ball is landing when it’s coming down.

But while that’s a step forward, they happen overall WAY too often. 90% of my home runs have the animation. If the ball is only a couple rows into the stands, there’s no way it should get that animation. It should be reserved for 430+. Ive had it happen where its a sky ball that lands in the little nook by the right field foul pole at Petco.

I’m splitting hairs here… I think the game overall this year so far is great. But let’s scale the home run animations back a bit.

While i don't have a problem with them, I did get a No Doubt animation on a 381' wall scraper that gave me a chuckle.

What's weird is they don't show the Rhys Hoskins bat slam one, unless you press L2 to replay it!

I love them and actually miss the cool ones they implemented last year before they removed them. RIP Baez Superman

    I remember that! 🤣

And it wasn't a case where players just had generic animations, they had ones that guaranteed you were getting a fastball at your head the next AB.
