… It is a video game. Its meant to be played. If you want the Wetherholt card, you may wanna start playing now. You'll get it sooner.
What an awesome response, that made my day … nailed it !!!

My concern for the “casuals” is with hitting. I’m not a casual and I’m not getting any hits whatsoever. The game, with these lower ratings, is simply too hard right now. I’m border line frustrated and this is my 5th year. A newbie ain’t hanging around.

@MoeBuug68 definitely not. With these lower ratings ratings across the board (which I’m fine with), SDS should adjust the difficulty level down to compensate. For example, change Moments to Rookie.

Omg people, Rookie? Veteran too hard?? Play franchise on Rookie; there’s your solution.

Or… people should be able to play the way they want to play. Without judgement. Not everyone is a sweat.

Anyone who thinks that the first showdown in 25, designed to be done 4x, should be harder than ANY non extreme showdown in 24 should shove their elitism right up their [censored].

You dont need to be a "sweat" to play vs CPU on Rookie.

@Teak2112 I hate showdowns as much as the next guy but it’s not hard. Sure you can bad luck into a fail, but the final boss is at Coors and you have more hitters that you can put in a lineup.
It’s not elitist to beat a game mode on Veteran, especially when it’s DESIGNED to be competitive.

Its very time consuming. You dont get to use or progress your own cards. Its all or nothing.
There is already an offline mode intended for higher skilled players. Is it really too much to ask for this to be balanced similar to last year's showdowns, especially since they expect it to be done 4x?
I'm not going to sit here and tell people their concerns arent valid even though I got it done 4 out of 6 runs. If I can do it anyone can, but that doesnt mean the way they rig it against you with every defender being ozzie smith or andruw jones and ball 4 being roughly as rare as a Bartolo Colon HR makes for a fun game mode.
