Influence bunts?

Anyone know how to influence a bunt? with new ambush hitting you cant simply push the right analog one way or another to influence direction since now that means choosing inside or outside. i tried it and an inside pitch came and my dude bunted the other way.

Left stick I believe. Controller vibrates if you move it around while bunting
